Boxy, sturdy, a cornerstone of Norstrosian weapons. This blocky pistol has more likeness to a slab of rock than a gun. Although, perhaps it is for the best; as it portrays what it does from that mention alone.

The Grendel hits like a boulder, utilizing heavy, stubber rounds to deal damage; no matter the target. Utilizing a revolutionary idea of practically overloading a bullet’s gunpowder grainage for maximum power, and shortening it up so that many bullets could be fitted inside a single magazine; the Grendel has become the staple point of many Norstrosian weapons.

The Grendel fires a 14x15.66mm stubber round. The Stubber round pertains to a round that is fatter than it is long, meaning it drops off at even basic combat ranges such as 120 to 220 meters. However, the masterfully granulated gunpowder used by Norstrosians, coupled with the excess use of the material, makes the weapon capable of shattering through most designs ever conceived. Given time, of course.

Its fire-rate is truly stupendous, considering its size. Firing off stubber rounds roughly three times within a single second. While, perhaps, not too impressive given some of the weaponry created by those within Galthia, in Dontelabekagen, this weapon was feared within the closed spaces of boarded ships and urban environments.

The weapon itself boasts rather poor accuracy past its first shot, the recoil from the amount of gunpowder being well more than enough to shatter a normal man’s arm, and definitely enough to startle a Hildaran. It is sized roughly a foot and a half in length, with the widest point hitting four inches. The weapon weighs roughly 18 kilograms, due to the heavy materials used to ensure the weapon does not blow itself up.

The weapon is oversized, for a pistol for any other race besides the Hildaran. This is due to this weapon being made by a Hildaran. Who would have guessed.

The Grendel is an all time favorite among many in the host of Norstros, from history to simple versatility in what Norstrosians enjoy.
