Journal things... In the journal... Yeeee
Well, I should write more journals, but I'm really not sure what to journal-about... I live... very uneventful life ^u^
But, I have made a journal. This journal. So I ask the question to the people of the watchin the me.
Would you be interested in like... seeing doodles... and stuff? I mean, I doodle a lot, and I feel like I 'ought to show that I'm not pumping a picture out every bloo moon. But a lot. a lot of semi-crappy doodloos that are like... okay... and I'm slowly beginning to enjoy looking at my art, and not feeling entirely embarrassed by them so yes.
To show or not to show doodles.

I should really upload something; I've got so many WIP's but I just... get so bored of coloring/painting ;o;
Thinking about going cheap [jk] and uploading stories... Would that be something that'd be somewhat interesting?

Quick Art Tips

So, this journal entry shall go over some small and quick art tips that I, and you(should), keep in mind.
This is just kind of a filler thing since I'm bad at journal things.
Something I learned for coloring is
Cool Shadows, Warm Highlights. Warm Shadows, Cool highlights.
Makes for a more dramatic look. They don't have to be so vividly different like red and blue, maybe along the lines of purple and pink.
USE LAYERS.
Layers are the best thing in digital artistry, It's good if you can manage a lot of layers so you can work on individual sections of the body without heavily altering the other. I'm pretty bad at this, though I still have a lot of layers when it comes to coloring.
Don't forget the other tools in your program or what materials are available irl.
It's very important to know what and how your tools and materials work. This will allow a lot more diversity and undoubted increase in quality on your image.
Reference material is awesome.
It always does good for me to look up some medieval armor and other things as I color and work pictures.
Reference material helps a lot in the way that it gives you an idea on how things should be shaped, how they'll work together to be functional, and that will give images an air of realism.
An air of realism should always be strived for; even in those ridiculou-fantasy costumes with loads of spikes vestigial pieces; they should look like they work and compliment eachother.
I like to use historical references for armor and things, since I'm kind of a history buff. I enjoy the pursuit since I usually find cool images at the same time of figuring out ways to implement their motions to my current image.
Doodling is awesome
Something I found out is that doodling and practicing to make different textures and things helps a ton in the way of finding new styles and ways of making more realistic or immersive materials.

I saw this journal thing and I said to myself
